On september 20, 2003, officers responded to a shots fired call at the wolf's bar. The victim was a musician and had put on a show at the denver elk's club. Afterwards, the victim and his friends went to the wolf's bar to celebrate. A fight broke out after the bar closed and multiple gunshots were reported. The victim was killed at the scene.
