On august 5th, 1977, 51 year old robert manning left his home at about 7:00 a.M and went to breakfast at an east main st. Diner. He was planning on leaving for florida later that day. After leaving the restaurant, he was never seen again. On august 8th, mannings body was found in the trunk of his car at the monroe county airport. He had been shot to death. After an extensive investigation, this case remains unsolved. Please contact the rochester police department with any information that you may have about this incident.
