T 10:53 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of 4th court west, on a call of a person down. Upon arrival officers observed the victim lying on the side of a residence unresponsive. Birmingham fire and rescue service responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound.
