On august 16, 1988, james appeared to have been shot at his apartment at 3602 quantico terrace dr. In triangle. He then fled to 19122 fuller heights rd. In triangle where he was found. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. An autopsy revealed he died from a gunshot wound.
