On friday, november 22, 2019 at approximately 7:17 p.M., columbus police officers were called to the area of shady lane elementary school at 1444 shady lane road, on the report of a shooting near the school. Upon arrival, officers found an injured male, lying inside a crashed vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Cfd engine 4 responded to the scene and pronounced the victim, later identified as 18yr old brenden brown, deceased at 8:16 p.M.
