On january 17, 2017, at approximately 10:42 a.M., columbus police officers were called to the area of 612 s. Wheatland avenue on the report of a woman being assaulted in the street. Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate the victim, who had apparently walked away from the scene. Approximately 20 minutes later, officers were dispatched to an address down the street on the report of an unresponsive female believed to be the one involved in the earlier run. Officers then located the victim, later identified as 29yr old sandi roth, unresponsive and unable to speak with the officers. Cfd medic 10 transported ms. Roth to mt. Carmel west hospital where she was eventually stabilized, but did not regain consciousness. On march 19, 2017 at 2:45 a.M., ms. Roth succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased by the attending physician.Agency
