In August 2007, Oxnard Police officers responded to a fight in the parking lot of a bar in the 600 block of South Oxnard Blvd. The officers located a large group of individuals, one of which was Jose Reyes. Reyes had been stabbed and was transported to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. Reyes died 9 days later as a result of complications due to the stabbing.Agency
