Shortly after midnight, members of the denver police department responded to the area of west 34th avenue and mariposa street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the victim was found in the street across from the mambo night club. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately did not survive from the gunshot wounds he sustained.
