On august 14, 1992, the victim, ninfa gordon and her husband lived in the 7000 block of w. Grantosa ave. In the early morning hours, they were notified by their neighbor that some suspects were attempting to steal their white cadillac and that the cadillac was being pushed by a dark colored automobile eastbound on w. Grantosa ave. When the gordons went outside they saw their vehicle being driven eastbound on w. Grantosa ave., and chased after it near the 6900 block of w. Caldwell ct. The vehicle then stopped and the driver ran towards them. The gordon’s were running westbound in the alley when ninfa slipped and fell at which time the suspect caught up to ninfa and shot her while she laid on the ground.
