On october 18, 2003 officers found kendrick boyland deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. He had several thousand dollars on him, his wallet was in his back pocket and he was still wearing gold and diamond jewelry. The only item that appeared to be missing was a cellular telephone for which a search warrant was obtained and from the telephone records it appears that kendrick was killed around 9:16 p.M.
