At 10:54 p.M. On Wednesday July 29, 2020, a silver 2013 Chevrolet Impala was found fully engulfed in flames in the 1600 block of Court E road in downtown Tacoma. The vehicle’s registered owner - Diana Davis - was not located at the scene. Davis was reported missing and had not been seen or heard from since approximately 3:00 p.M. On Monday July 27, when she was believed to be going to a community garden in the City of Tacoma. On August 5, 2020, the remains of Diana Davis were found in a remote wooded area along Interstate 90 near Snoqualmie Pass. Detectives are investigating Davis’ disappearance and death as a homicide. Detectives are looking for any information on Davis’ whereabouts, including any suspicious persons or activity in the area where her burned car was found. They are also looking for any information on where Davis’ silver Chevrolet Impala with Washington license plates BSR0058 may have been located between July 27 and the night of July 29.
