On the early morning hours of june 30,1979, kenneth grier was at the king cole bar, located at 1082 broadway, when a disturbance between multiple patrons erupted. During the commotion, gunshots were fired and kenneth grier was struck. Mr. Grier was immediately transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately died from the gunshot wounds he sustained.
