Info

Mark gregg, a 54-year-old disabled truck driver was discovered by his wife, slain about 9pm on april 18, 2009. Gregg had been shot multiple times with a 12-gauge shotgun at close range some time during the day inside the couple's north road home in green cove springs. A distinctive-looking armsel striker 12-gauge shotgun with a revolving ammunition cylinder - commonly known as a "Street sweeper" - was missing from gregg's small gun collection. Gregg had a license to legally own that semi-automatic shotgun, which appeared to be the only firearm missing from the home. Detectives believe that particular "Street sweeper" to be the murder weapon. There were no obvious signs of forced entry to the home. But a jewelry box appeared to have been tossed over, and some cigarettes looked to be missing.
