On march 6, 2005 at 1053 hours, the victim, david a neel, 49 yoa, was driving his blue and silver 1990 f-250 pickup southbound on I-75 approaching the I-4 exit. An unknown person shot david neel prior to him taking the I-4 exit ramp. The bullet passed through the driver's door and struck mr. Neel in the chest. Mr. Neel's vehicle ran off the side of the exit ramp a and crashed into a stand of trees. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the hillsborough county sheriff's office homicide unit at (813) 247-8660.
