During the early morning hours of december 26, 1976, a passer-by noticed a body lying on a dirt field just off of the road near west 7th avenue and alcott street. The police were immediately notified and led to the body, which was subsequently identified as 22 year old tina grant. Due to the significant injuries sustained and the remote area where her body was located, tina's death was ruled and investigated as a homicide.
