On 05-23-2023 at 1238 hours, officers were dispatched to 8239 forest avenue on a report of sounds of shots. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who was lying in the roadway suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
