On friday, june 20, 2003, henrico police was requested to search for elsaid m. Abed around fenwick street. Mr. Abed, owner of mama lou's pizza located in oak hill plaza, did not return to the business after delivering a pizza. Officers checked the area and located mr. Abed lying face down in front of 4019 fenwick street. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Mr. Abed was transported to the medical examiner’s office for further examination. The medical examiner determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound.
