57-year-old janitorial service worker ralph anderson was shot to death around 7am january 13, 1985, as he cleaned inside the old village saloon. Anderson was shot five times at close range with a .38-caliber pistol and apparently died from two bullets to the back of his head. Investigators suspected anderson knew his killer and had let that person inside the tavern. His body was discovered by the tavern's owner when he arrived at the business later that morning.
