On sunday, july 18, 2021 at approximately 3:23 a.M., 23-year-old destiny mcclain was standing at a food truck in the area of 17th street and mcdowell road when she was struck by one of several bullets that were fired into the crowd of people surrounding her. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. A vehicle of interest was seen leaving the area eastbound on mcdowell road from 17th street.
