On 10-7-98 officers were called to 11 loomis st after an anonymous caller phoned 911 and said a homicide may have occurred at the location. Raymond tate and his brother desmond tate were found brutally murdered inside the apartment. This was a targeted crime related to drugs sales. Investigators believe this double murder is related to several other crimes in the city of rochester around the same time.
