On july 6, 2020 at 10:30 pm 39-year old bryson simpson was with several friends in the parking lot at the corner of thurston road and flanders st. Gunfire rang out and a total of 3 people, including simpson, was struck. Simpson was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe simpson was shot by a stray bullet that was not mean for he or his friends, but for another group of people hanging out at the corner.Agency
