On september 2, 2022, at about 3:30 in the morning officers were called to the charlotte beach parking lot for the report of a man shot. Upon arrival officers found 31-year-old jerome lindsey with multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators learned lindsey was with one of two large groups congregating in the parking lot when a fight escalated, resulting in lindsey being shot and killed. There were many people at the scene of the crime who know who shot and killed lindsey who have not yet cooperated with investigators.Agency
