On january 16, 2006 at about 11:00 pm an ambulance was called to the intersection of lyell ave. And mcnaughton st. For the report of a person struck by a car. When the ambulance arrived on scene they found 49-year old evelyn kretchman in the intersection and learned she was actually suffering from a gunshot wound. Evelyn remained hospitalized until she ultimately died from her injuries on october 1, 2006. Evelyn struggled with drug addiction and worked the streets as a prostitute to feed her addiction. Investigators have continued to work this case over the years and know who shot her. They need the people with the knowledge to come forward so the person responsible can be held accountable for this senseless murder.Agency
