On may 27, 2017, at 2:30am, police officers were dispatched to 1972 maryland avenue regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, they found deaonte bell suffering from gunshot wounds. He had been attending a birthday party in the area, and when he stepped outside the home he was confronted by several individuals and an argument ensued. Deaonte bell was shot several times by the unknown suspects. He was transported to the hospital and was pronounced deceased at 2:59am.
