On march 2, 2016, lvmpd patrol officers were dispatched to sunrise medical center reference a male who sustained a head injury from being battered. Homicide detectives learned 48 year old robert hollimon, aka “joey”, told his friends on february 29th, 2016, at approximately 11:00 p.M., he was jumped by two african american males. Allegedly this incident started around the el cortez’s parking garage and continued to the area behind the 7-eleven located at fremont and 15th street. Hollimon told his friends that one of the males went by the moniker “dugga”. On march 2, 2016 hollimon succumbed to his injuries and was declared brain dead. According to friends of hollimon, “dugga” is described as a light skinned black male adult, approximately 6’3”, thin build with long dreads to the middle of his back who is 36 years old. He is possibly from the new york area with a heavy new york accent. Possibly lives in or frequents the area of sierra vista and cambridge.Agency
