Raymond l. “little raymond” march jr., 23, was shot outside wilma’s club in davenport, iowa, at 2 a.M. On saturday, june 20, 1998.According to police, march — a davenport resident who formerly resided in fairfax, iowa — walked with a group of people out toward their cars once the bar closed. The group talked for several minutes before march walked away. Seconds later, shots rang out and march fell.Police said at least one bullet hit march near the neck. A bystander and an officer administered cpr until paramedics arrived.March was taken to genesis medical center-east campus in davenport, where he died shortly after arrival.It was the quad cities’ first homicide of the year.Agency
