The victim went outside to determine why his car alarm was activated. While doing so, the victim interrupted the suspects who were attempting to break into his vehicle. The suspects fled and the victim gave chase. During this time, the victim was shot by one of the suspects. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately did not survive his injuries.
