On november 5, 2004, 34 year old jesus cruz-vasquez was leaving a bar with several other individuals when the group became involved in a verbal argument with some other males in an suv type vehicle. A fight ensued and the victim was struck by one of the male suspects. Jesus fell and struck his head and remained unconscious. The suspects then fled in the vehicle.
