On august 8, 2005, at approximately 0237 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting in the parking lot of pleasers club located at 1261 n. King street. Upon arrival, officers located akin joseph omodara in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. Omodara later died at the hospital. Omodara was the manager of the club. Omodara was walking in the parking lot carrying a bank bag. A witness saw a black male approach omodara with a gun and demand the bank bag. After a brief struggle, omodara was shot, and the offender ran off.Agency
