On wednesday, april 18, 2007, officers from the gold hill division responded to the 300 block of east pikes peak avenue regarding several reports of shots fired. Upon arriving, officers observed a yellow taxi cab that appeared to have been involved in a traffic accident on wahsatch avenue. Inside the cab, officers discovered 53 year old mr. Terry l. Wilson, the apparent victim of a gunshot wound. At this time it appears there was a gun battle between two groups of individuals on pikes peak avenue, where mr. Wilson was fatally wounded as an innocent bystander. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the colorado springs police department.Agency
