On january 1, 2009 at about 3:15 pm officers responded to the area of dorbeth rd. For the report of shots fired and a vehicle crashed into a tree. Officers found 29-year-old prentiss jackson jr. Alone in the drivers seat of a car crashed into a tree. Suspects had fired multiple gunshots through the windshield of the car, striking and killing jackson. Witnesses reported seeing two suspects approach the vehicle and fire multiple rounds. Investigators believe jackson was murdered as a result if his involvement in drug sales in the northeast neighborhood. There are several persons of interest in this murder investigation and investigators need people with information to come forward.Agency
