At approximately 8:45 pm, north precinct officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of 21st street north on report of shots fired. While officers were en route, they were notified that a vehicle had wrecked at the bottom of an apartment complex parking lot. Officers arrived on the scene when they observed a wrecked vehicle. The victim was lying outside of the vehicle, unresponsive, suffering an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham fire and rescue personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.Agency
