On march 27, 2019 at approximately 8:56 p.M., lvmpd patrol officers were dispatched to the 600 block of 12th street to investigate reports of a shooting with two people hit. Arriving officers located two adult males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to umc trauma where one of them was later pronounced deceased. The other victim suffered what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation by the lvmpd homicide section indicated neighbors heard shots fired and went outside to discover the injured victims.Agency
