Joy kathleen “kathy” jones harmon, age 22, was at the better days bar located at 726 s. State street on the night of march 2, 1976 with a friend. Kathy left the bar around midnight alone. A coat she had on at the better days bar was located at her apartment indicating she made it home that night. She was reported missing by her parents when she did not show up for work, couldn’t be reached by phone, and was not at her apartment. Her body was discovered on march 6, 1976 by a hiker between emigration and parley’s canyon. Her partially clad body was located approximately 300 yards off the lookout toward the mountain dell meadows area.Agency
