Update - june 2021: vidal rodriguez-alvarez, 32, was charged in september 2008 in the death of liliana razo, who was a freshman at south division. An arrest warrant had been issued at the time for rodriguez-alvarez, then 19. His arrest was announced on june 9, 2021. According to court records, razo died sept. 8, 2008, three days after a screwdriver hurled after an exchange of insults between rival gang members pierced her head. Razo was sitting in a minivan in the 1900 block of south 13th street when she was struck.
