On wednesday july 10, 2013 at approximately 3:22am, steubenville police department responded to reports of gunshots at 1124 claire avenue. On arrival and inside the incident location, law enforcement discovered derrick da' shawn williams, deceased from a gunshot wound to his head. Four other individuals were also inside the residence and uninjured. Information developed indicates unidentified person(s) fired multiple gunshots from outside and into the residence causing the death of derrick da' shawn williams
