37 year old david sullivan worked at the regency inn at night and at the stop n' go during the day. During the early morning hours of february 9, 1980, the bartender of smokey's bar, located on the 3900 block of north osage street, called the police to report a body in the alley. Police arrived and found david suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital but did not survive his injuries.
