66 year old orville parks regularly traveled between denver and el paso, texas. He had apartments in both cities. On the morning of january 17, 1982 orville park's denver landlords noticed they had not seen mr. Parks for two days. Concerned about their tenants welfare, the landlords entered the apartment and discovered orville parks had been beaten to death. During the investigation, it was determined mr. Parks' 1977 chevy el camino was missing. The vehicle was never recovered. Mr. Parks served with the united states air force and retired at the rank of major.
