On wednesday, october 15, 2008, at approximately 4:30 a.M., gregory carter was located deceased at 806 nw 7th terrace in the city of hallandale beach. Carter was located lying face up in the parking area. His body was between a garbage dumpster and a vehicle. His chest was covered in blood and there was blood on his face. The investigation revealed mr. Carter died from a gunshot wound and witnesses stated they heard the sound of gunshots prior to police arriving.
