On january 12, 1973, colorado springs police department officers found mckinley collins in his residence on fountain blvd. Mr. Collins died of a gunshot wound. He was described as a well known and friendly man in the neighborhood. Many witnesses and possible suspects were interviewed. As of this date the case remains unsolved.
