On september 11, 2013 at approximately 11:51 p.M., the victim, michael collins, was involved in a fight in the common area of the missouri crossing apartments. During the fight, michael was stabbed in the left armpit area severing his brachial artery, vein and nerve. Before losing consciousness at the hospital, michael stated that the person who stabbed him was named “frankie.” michael died in the hospital 3 days later from his injuries without giving any description of the suspect. A witness stated the victim had an argument just prior to the incident with a “big guy” who looked hispanic
