On august 8, 2016, at 10:45 p.M., lvmpd patrol officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 6900 block of e. Lake mead blvd., for reports of gunshots being heard. Patrol officers arrived and located a male later identified as miguel jackson lying on the floor inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel transported jackson to umc trauma where he was listed as extremely critical and not expected to survive. Jackson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on august 10, 2016. A witness stated while inside an apartment with jackson, gunshots were heard and glass breaking. Jackson was seen lying on the floor suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.Agency
