On october 26th, 2016 at approximately 8:09 p.M., deputies responded to strictly skillz barber shop, located at 400 n. Pine hills road. #I, in reference to shots being fired inside the business. Upon arrival, deputies located a black male lying inside the business, identified as the business owner, brian k. Berry. Berry died from his injuries. A second victim, reginald trammell, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Based on witness information, a silver four-door older model sedan pulled up in front of the business. A black male suspect exited the vehicle and entered the business, demanding money. The suspect then fired three to five rounds into the business, and left the scene, in the vehicle, toward pine hills road. The suspect was described as a black/male approximately 6’1 to 6’3 with a thin build. During this incident, the employees also described a similar suspect who had entered the business on 10/22/2016 who waved a gun around and left. This incident was not reported to law enforcement.
