Description: Neighbors in a Northern Kentucky subdivision were shocked and frightened Thursday afternoon after shots were fired in a residential neighborhood. The call came in around 1:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired out of a home at Omaha Trace and Saunders Lane in the Triple Crown neighborhood, which is in Union. The shots fired prompted an hours long standoff with police and a SWAT team. Boone County Sheriff's Lt. Phillip Ridgell said shortly after deputies arrived, the suspect fired shots and deputies fired back.
