On february 5, 1992 at 1055 hours, cynthia cano was found by a pedestrian in a drainage ditch south of the roosevelt irrigation district road at approximately 2000 south 47th avenue. The victim had been stabbed, but she was still breathing. She was transported to the hospital where she died from her injuries at 1209 hours.
