On december 19, 2015, at approximately 8:24 p.M. Officers were summoned to 14291 e. Colfax avenue (the pacesetter motel) on report of a body inside room #35. Pitts was located at the scene suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was not transported to the hospital, but was pronounced at the scene.
