On saturday, july 10, 1999, at about 1 a.M., three asian males were told to leave after being in an altercation with security at doc’s tavern, located at 3000 se powell blvd. Approximately one hour later, two of the individuals returned and began shooting at two security gaurds in the parking lot. One of the guards , harold rogers, was shot and killed. Suspect #1 is described as a vietnamese male, 20 to 25 years old at the time, 5’5” to 5’7” tall, thin build, with short hair and long bangs over his forehead, and a cut on his hand or finger. He was wearing a blood smeared t-shirt, khaki pants and a gold colored wristwatch. Suspect #2 is described as a vietnamese male, 20-25 years old at the time, 5’5” to 5’7” tall, thin build wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The third individual is a person of interest who was with the suspects during the initial altercation at the tavern, but was not present during the shooting. He is described as a vietnamese male, 40-45 years old at the time 5’7”, weighing 175 to 200 pounds with a stocky build and pot belly, bald or balding with a crown of hair, wire-framed glasses and possible mustache.
