On september 21, 2012, columbus police responded to 1702 manchester avenue, after receiving a call about a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers located 19-year old zachary white, near the residence, suffering from several gunshot wounds. Also, there was a female who had been shot in the finger. Zachary white was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses reported that at approximately 5:00pm, zachary white and the female entered 1702 manchester avenue. A short time later, both victims ran out of the residence and multiple gunshots were heard. Zachary collapsed at the scene, having been shot at least three times in the upper body. Investigators are seeking information as to the why the shooting took place, who was in the residence at the time of the shooting, and the person(s) who shot zachary white and the woman.
