John valin and a female companion were, seated in a 1983 ford ranger pickup truck, behind the bungalow bar when the suspect fired several rounds through the rear window of the truck. John was struck several times and died at the scene. The companion was struck once in the head, but survived the wound. The companion was unable to provide any information on the suspect. John valin and his companion were involved in an altercation inside of the bar shortly before the shooting. Detectives learned that a previous altercation involving john and his companion occurred at the lucille's lucky seven lounge which was located a short distance from the bungalow bar. There are no known witnesses to the shooting.Agency
