Pierce County Sheriff's detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for the murder of 24 year-old Stacey Nixon. On April 25th, 1996, the body of woman wearing a dark blue dress was found floating in the Puyallup River in the area of the 6600 block of N. Levee Rd. E. In Tacoma. The body was identified as Stacey Nixon, who had been stabbed to death before being dumped into the river. Stacey Nixon's family had reported her missing two weeks earlier after they had not seen or heard from her for several days. The last known contact with Nixon occurred on April 3rd, 1996, when she called her mother from a pay phone near the B&I store on South Tacoma Way.
